On the North Slope of Brooks Range, Arctic North has 32,000 square miles of guiding territory. All hunting is done on foot from base and fly-out spike camps. Camps are located in prime game country with many animals taken within 1/2 mile.
When hunting the Brooks Range, travel by Wright’s Air Service from Fairbanks to Village of Anatuvik Pass. Currently, this fare is $400. Luggage allowance 40 pounds and excess eighty cents per pound.
There is a permanent, wood-frame cabin furnished with bunks, generators, sleeping pads, hot and cold running water, showers and kerosene heaters. A full -time cook prepares great food and lots of it. Considering you are 300 miles inside the Arctic Circle, this is deluxe.
